those accidents sound horrific. i hope no one was injured or very badly hurt. i know accidents are bad tara once i saw this accident that was really kool to see. ma tyo royal palace ko intersection bata durbar marg ma thiye
infront of me was this guy on a bike hai. ani u all know ki durbar marg ma u arnt allowed to make a U-Turn from the middle of the road bhanera hai. but there was this one fool in a car making a U-Turn there. and this guy on the bike infront of me just slammed into the side of the car. then the kool thing happened. this guy fllies off his bike like in the movies, lands on his back on the hood of the car and then falls face first onto the other side. waht made this accident really kool was that the wasnt hurt at all. wish i had caught that on film!!! it was freakin' awesome

In places like ours where road rules are hardly respected, I bet everybody has been a part of some accident or seen one.....Well I have seen lots. But never seen one happen right in front of my eyes. Just seen the aftermaths only...

But let me tell you about my brother's experience which still scares him while travelling through that road...

It was a bright sunny day. The usual Kathmandu and back to Bhaktapur ride. He was returning home and had just crossed Thimi. Though the road was straight and clear he was riding at a slow pace taking his own time. Maybe about a couple of hundred metres ahead, he spotted a kid at his side of the road. Everything was normal. But just then the kid happened to spot the ice cream guy on the other side. Giving it no other thoughts he sped across the road towards the ice cream. My brother was too far to hit him. But unluckily, there was a truck going towards Kathmandu at a considerably high speed in the other side of the road. So the truck was too fast and helpless to save the little happy kid. Fate had it, it ran over the kid and fled away from the scene to escape his own death from the locals beating. It was never the truck driver's fault and the kid was the least he expected. Just as my brother reached the spot, he faced the most disappointing sights of his life. The aftermath was likely. There lay only the remains of blood and almost every body part of the little child shattered in the roads, with the mother crying helplessly. Some of the elder people in bikes sped towards the truck to catch the driver. But my brother he was still in shock and just could not afford to stop. So he just passed from the shock with sympathy for the child and the mother. He returned home, but still lied in deep thoughts for the whole day, unable to rationalise whose fault was it... and unable to forget the sight for the whole time of his life.

He had witnessed the event and it was never the driver's fault. But sadly this is Nepal. People kill you to death, even if it was never your fault. So though the kid met a quick death, he still wished  the truck driver escaped....

Traversing on that road late in the nights still scares him off till today...

He still recounts how all the happiness and the innocence of the little kid was splattered on the ground in splits of seconds.........

  well...umm...apart from being involved in many accident i also have witnessed many !!!!
  one of the recent ones was really cool!!! hehe
 a taxi tries a u turn on a bg day at baneshor...he's hit by a bike headin towards minbhawan....he hits the front left part of the car n the front bumper's blown about 10meters n hits another biker's head!! hehe....n the biker get down from his bike....he's bike doesnt even move, its stuck in the car hehehe.....he get down pulls the driver n starts beatin him!!! hehe.....buh just before he could cause more than few bruises ppl stop him....it was really a cool scene to watch hehe....

Hahahahaha... The usual irrational scene of accidents.... And then the traffic jam !

Accidents do happen as a result of own fault or that could be of some other stupid jerk. its not like that when u drive really carefully n real slow u won' t meet an accident, u might be a victim of some nightmare due to somebody else and its not always rough rider end up with an accident but again when one rides roughly and in very high speed i.e. more than 50 in Nepal's context, tendency to save himself from sudden unexpected impact goes negligible.

i have lots of experiences abt accidents few i met myself and other i witnessed n those i will share with u guys gradually in forth coming days...

its been almost a decade that i had been riding bike. n i have met with accident few times and also there are very close encounter with an accidents which left me shaking with fear, sweating heavily, my heart beating tremendously fast that i can hear it for next 10-15 minutes...

anyways leave those things i know everyone must have witnessed an accident in one's life time n i just wanted to ask u guys one question depending upon nature of an accident-
"HOW MANY OF YOU PPL HAVE TRIED TO HELP THE VICTIM OF A ROAD ACCIDENT???"
reading the posts above ... answer will be none..but in most of the cases we try to run away from the spot that might be a result of fear, being bg (u were heading for somewhere else n u r in grt rush), cowardliness, too cunning to save ur ass from possible hassle, and many more. but just imagine we can't have important work than a help needed by a dieing guy, we can't be in more rush that him/her... its not humanity to leave a falling guy behind just imagine guys just try to put yourself in its place.. when u feel it then u can realize... Nothing to say more..

Was returning from Tution class
Saw an R-1-5 .And was thiking bike
is too small.umm front look is nice etc tec
I was 100 metre far from my home..
And there was turning .i was riding slowly
Suddenly I saw APACHE RTR coming toward
me .And guy in apache hit disc brake
WHAT NEXT
Shit man front tyre sliped n BIke was
slipping toward me.And Hits my bike
And i was in middle of road 
My leg was paining .I was hoping n
praying for good.As it was near my home
so Many ppl there know me.So they came
near n helped me .And I looked for tht rider
who hit me.And I saw pieces of glass
And footrest 
And guy was young ....No helmet 
What if he was seriously hurt.Is i have to
pay him or i have to take him hospital.
umm he is the one who did it not me
But he was ok And i began to shout .
"Turn ma pani YAti speed ma chalaune ho
Kam chaina."
He anser- K garne Disc brake hanai paryo"
hehehe
And someone came out of crowd n asked
me whether i am ok and do i need money
i said no i am ok .But Apachee was seriously
hurt i felt sorry for Bike .Front Visor was gone
Foot rest Was broken .
Hope Bike will get fast treatment 
Then i rode my bike n I reach my home.

After reaching home i told my mom
about accident .And She said
Tasaile ta BISTARAI chalau bhaneko 
Hahaha i was riding slow .But ya
All parents are same

Every day we learn a lesson and from every accident we learn hoina na ta 
July 11th 9am I was on the way to my office just in front of Kings Palace at Durbar Margha !
It was 1st day of after my 2nd Servicing I was so happy coz I could rip my bike now!
I could now go up to 6k RPM more often! Just as the curve ended I start ripping my bike
N BANG!! I was on the road! there was micro ahead of me which stopped all of a sudden when a passenger tried to come out    my bad luck I had to apply both brakes n real hard my brakes got locked ! n I was on the road ! nthg bad happened just my headlight were scratched and my shoulder / arm tissue was damaged   Now I have to take 1 mth rest to get it working ! n still more till I can ride bike again !
The worst thing was it was my right hands so have taken sick leave form office as well!
That’s why I been away from merobike ! Hope every thg over here is well n fine
N the lesson learned is that never expect micobus to follow the traffic rules always make assumption that it will break at any point. And while applying brakes in new bike make sure u don’t lock them but it’s just a microsec decision we can do nothing personally as its just a reflex reaction! But still ….

sorry to hear that bro..get well soon!!...yeah some mircro drivers are like damn shits..they just dont care afta they see some passengers!!!tthey suck!!

a brother of mine was hit by a micro and hurled unto oncoming traffic !!!!! how he managed to survive is beyond me !!!

Remember Drive slow !!! except may be during traffic jams :p ... jam ma ta baal side/side ma milaundai laijane . FUN !!!!
