please contribute yr thoughts this is working model only... will be post final on forum after all of the mods clearly understood

1.   Only one account per person is permitted.
2.   When registering, a valid email address has to be used. Disposable email addresses are not permitted. If found, we will remove the account in question.
3.   Keep all commentary civil, and be courteous at all times. Constructive criticism is welcome, but insults directed towards other users or the site admins will not be tolerated. Coarse/insulting language will not be tolerated.


Posting


1.   Keep all posts on-topic.
2.   Keep the focus: Questions outside the scope of a certain forum will either be moved, locked or simply be delete
3.   Don't post just to increase your number of posts. If you have nothing to say on a certain matter then don't post. The number of posts on this board has no direct relation to the experience of a member.
4.   The official language is English.
5.   Members are asked to respect the copyright of other users, sites, media, etc.
6.   All posts must be in English, unless posted in a specific international forum. If posting in a international forum, please use the language of that forum, and not English.
7.   Do not astroturf or pretend to be/represent somebody else. Your account will be deleted if found to be in breach of this rule.
8.   Do not discuss illegal activities.
9.   Check that your question has not been answered anywhere else on the site. Use the search feature.
10.   Post your comment/question to the most appropriate place. Any posts deemed to be in the wrong forum will be moved.
11.   Make sure you have read the parent article/post completely before posting a reply
12.   Use your own words. If you wish to use the words of somebody else, quote them, citing the source. Plagiarism is unethical and is illegal.
13.   Choose an appropriate subject line. Try to summarise the problem briefly in the subject, and elaborate in the message itself. Repeat the subject in the body if it will make things clearer. Do not use all caps and do not add false information just to get attention (e.g. ;read this or you will be arrested;). An example of a bad subject would be "HELP ME". Do not use a URL as a thread title.
14.   You may not compensate anyone for any review or recommendation.
15.   Thank those who help you.
16.   Do not link to any site that contains adult content, sexually oriented material or might otherwise be considered offensive.
17.   Do not propose/link to any site that contains warez/copyrighted software/materials that can be downloaded illegally.



Policy
1.   Be nice to each other and respect the moderator. Profanity and insults will not be tolerated. If you have a problem with another member turn to the respective moderator and if the moderator can't help you send a private message to Doom9.

2.   Users will be warned a maximum of three times for any and all offences in a three month period. If the need arises for a fourth warning a temporary ban will be put in place of between 1 to 7 days

3.   Arguing with team members after having received a warning will lead to an immediate additional warning.

4.   Permanent bans are a last resort and thought is given before implementing them.

5.   Privacy Policy: We will not release any member information unless under court order to do so.
6.   We reserve the right to modify and amend these terms at any time without notice. It is your responsibility to remain informed of current merobike policies.
7.   We do not monitor private messages. But we will investigate all allegations of PM abuse.
8.   We further, reserve our right to disable any account at any time for any reason and without notice.
9.   If there are any rules or policies you do not understand, ask to mods, if they can’t help refer it to admin.

Avatars

Users are permitted to utilise a gallery avatar or to link to one of their own
Signatures:

1.   Must be setup in your Profile, and not manually added to your messages.
2.   images size should be no more then 120px x 600px.
3.   May not contain any  sales details.
4.   Maximum font size cannot be larger than normal.
5.   May not contain links to other threads or posts for the purpose of self promotion
6.   Your signature is your signature. It is not for sale or rent.
7.   Any signature or avatar that is offensive or insulting to either us, our members, or our staff, are prohibited.
8.   We reserve the right to ask you to change and/or remove your signature or avatar at any time, for any reason.


At all times:

1.   No commercial advertising is permitted.
2.   Any posts deemed to be self promotion, advertising, or spam can and will be removed.
3.   This is not the place to settle a commercial disagreement for custom development or to be a 'wall of shame'. Any posts deemed to be of this nature will be removed. Settle your disputes in private please.
4.   If you feel a post violates any of these rules, or you need to bring it to the attention of a moderator (move threads/close/split),
   
A suspension involves the following:

    * No access to user profiles
    * Modification of the user profile is disabled
    * Posting is disabled
    * Downloading attachments is disabled
    * Private messaging is disabled

After 30 days of suspension your account will be reinstated as we believe everybody should get a second chance. The strike list will start from zero again. If a member should continue to violate forum rules and gets suspended once more his/her account will be terminated without further notice.

Failure to abide by these rules may result in an editing, negative moderation or deletion of your post. We reserve the right to ban abusers from the site. We reserve the right to change these rules at any time.
