Any special workshops?
« on: March 23, 2008, 01:23:05 AM »

I have done some futile attempts to make my bike look different from its boring original look.  Here's the result:

So far, it has only been limited to accessorising it.  Now I need to fit the original Screaming Eagle exhausts to it and adjust the noise accordingly.

Can anyone out there suggest any good workshop around who can help me do it?  If I have seen enough chopper programmes, I think you need to b******dise the cylinders (probably make bigger holes!) to give that extra bit louder noise.

Your suggestions appreciated!!!

I ain't a fan of Choppers,but.......
Won't mind riding this 1 !! hope i get the keys at the G2G :-)

Getting back to MODS :

Making Holes .......... hmhmhm !! not so good idea,

Since you are in UK, my suggestion get some Air Filters,
K & N or HP, will work far better & awsome sound for a chopper !!

Regarding Cosmetic Mods :

A new paint job will be awsome, GANESH PAINT SHOP will help you out regarding that & GMOD NB will get you some Discounts as well right NB ??

Also i saw a new kinda Head Light somewhere in TEKU shop, specially for choppers ....... will look for it or we can search when u get here !!

More COmments will be pouring .........

Sure, you'll ge the keys, that's if you promise not to practice one your speed stunts on this one!

Will it not be wise to buy it in KTM (that is if they are available there!) to ensure compatability?  However, I will go around a couple shops tomorrow to see what they have.  Time is running out for me here coz I leave on Wednesday. Any other idea? Thanks brother.

Kevin, need a favour again.  I went to look for the filters today, they were all soooo huge!!! The only K&N filters I could find were all desgined for cars and hence their size.  Do you have a size in mind I can look for?  Otherwise I'll just have to settle with what I can find in KTM.  Thanks mate.  Robinson

Sorry guys i was lil busy......yeah Robinson dai, i think K&N will do the justice for ur beauty, now the million dollar question is, which model is appropriate for ur beauty? Well i am lil confused on Sundiro 250, what brand is it? I think universal filter will do for this baby, but to be on the safe side click on this link and try to get the possible one for the beauty. http://www.knfilters.com/motorcycle_atv.htm

Sure, I'll grab a couple of bike mags and see what they have to offer. Shame I don't have time for those mail orders or I could have got what I wanted.  My only shot is that bike shop today!  Wish me luck!!

See you la'er guys.

Guys, unfortunately no luck for the K&N filters.  The bike shops don't stock them and they have to order from the UK stocker as and when needed.  Earliest I can have them is Friday due to Easter backlog of orders which is too late for me.

But I am not totally disappointed, I managed to find a similar filter but a 'nameless' brand!  Here are the pictures:

I'll have to see whether this one will work and if it does, I can always replace them with the proper K&N ones on my next trip to KTM!

Thanks a lot for your help.

Robinson.
